What you can achieve when the in-laws are visiting!

Undyed wool and lace curtain cut-off

Beginning the dying process using Landscape Dye Element Range: Dingo

The (almost) finished product (minus button holes and buttons)

Because the curtain cut-off was cotton it did not dye with the wool

Another neck warmer using felted cord to bring it together. Hand dyed using Currawong by Landscape Dyes

Felted cord necklace with beads

I tried out Landscape dyes in Currawong today. Lovely black... I died one scarf and one cord necklace and used about teaspoon of dye... I threaded on the beads before I dyed them and they also went black!!!

this is another one before being dyed

So, I have just made an investment in a table top letterpress machine by Lifestyle Crafts in the US. I have spent the last few days investigating all my options and hope I have made the right decision. Of course, the more professional choice would be an Adana machine, but I am waiting and saving for that... The idea that my crafting is going to take off is one that I am manifesting! Fingers crossed! I've been speaking to a design company in Sydney (http://www.the-distillery.com.au/) who will be making my own art nouveau inspired printing plates as well as other fun designs. And with this I will be entering the world of stationary sets, invites and so on... Stayed tuned...
